Crawford appoints Charlotte Lau as Asia market development director


Crawford & Company has appointed Charlotte Lau as market development director, Asia, based in Sydney, Australia.

Lau will be responsible for sales and business development in the region, and will report to Veronica Grigg, president, Asia. This appointment, according to the company, is part of its commitment to further grow its business in the Asian market.

“I am excited to welcome Charlotte to Crawford, as she is a dynamic and value-driven leader with a track record of high-quality delivery,” said Grigg. “Her knowledge and expertise will be instrumental as we continue to grow in Asia and commit to deliver quality that sets the industry benchmark.”

Lau joins Crawford from QBE Insurance, where she was most recently vice president of strategic sales, Asia. During her 15 years with QBE, she held various senior roles across several different markets. She brings extensive experience to the role with expertise in sales operations, management consulting and business transformation. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Lau was an electronics engineer.
