Management Today (MT), Haymarket’s title for senior business leaders, has built a 12 metre high front cover in Decentraland, one of the largest decentralised platforms in the metaverse.

Kate Magee: “Management Today prides itself on keeping up with the latest trends leaders need to know.”
It claims to be the first English language magazine to do so.
Users of the virtual space can visit the cover, read MT’s virtual magazine
or use some of the portals on the cover to transport into different areas
in the virtual realm.
The metaverse – a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection
– is heralded by supporters as a potential trillion-dollar revenue
opportunity. Others dismiss it as the latest fad. MT investigated the
potential for businesses in a feature for its latest magazine, and created
a “meta” meta front cover, which depicts MT as it looks in the metaverse.
“Management Today prides itself on keeping up with the latest trends
leaders need to know. So what better way of learning how business could be
impacted by the advancing virtual worlds than exploring them ourselves?”
said MT’s editor Kate Magee.
